HYDRO FORMED FRAME

We’ve limited traditional stamping and welding on our truck frames—hydroforming is here. This means that Ram’s bones are molded with highly pressurized water, a revolutionary manufacturing process that’s not only more cost-effective, but adds structural benefits that kick some competitor butt:

• Greater strength

• Fewer welds adds even more durability

• Stronger and stiffer for a more solid feel

• Weighs less than stamped metal

Ram 1500 Quad Cab® models boast best-in-class interior space.* But don’t let the available power-adjustable pedals, the leather with perforated leather inserts of Ram Laramie, and space for a laptop computer blind you to Ram’s tough and rugged DNA. We just think that when you’re roughing it you might as well do it in style.

STORAGE

It used to be you couldn’t fit anything other than yourself and a passenger in a truck’s cab. Not anymore. Ram 1500 features excellent behind-the-seat storage for Ram 1500 Regular Cab and the unique fold-flat floor in Quad Cab.®

VR INTERIOR DESIGN

Before they think about building a mock-up, our engineers climb in to a virtual vehicle and try it out. They see if everything is comfortable and within reach. If not, corrections are made early in the development process.

AUDIO

Available steering wheel-mounted audio controls give you easy access to the new, optional six-disc in-dash CD player and AM/FM radio with a 240-watt amplifier that belts its sound through eleven speakers in seven locations.

AIR BAGS

Ram 1500 includes advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags,* child seat anchor system (LATCH), available supplemental side air bags,* three-point seat belts, and a front-passenger air bag* on/off switch (not available on Quad Cab®).

* Always use seat belts. Remember, children 12 and under should only be in the front seat with the air bag turned off correctly using appropriate restraints. Children under 12 are safer properly restrained in the rear seats under most circumstances.
